The legal pack.

Everything on this page and the four documents it links to is a working draft, published for transparency while it is reviewed by counsel. Nothing here is in force yet; the versions that take effect will carry an effective date in place of the draft notice.

The four documents

• End User License Agreement — what you may do with the software, what you may not, and exactly what happens if payments stop.
• Privacy Policy — the short list of what we process (your email, license key, machine ID, usage counters) and the long list of what we never see.
• Trial & Refund Policy — trial lengths and caps, plus a proposed money-back policy. Payments currently run in Stripe test mode.
• Data Processing Addendum (lite) — who is responsible for what: your documents are yours and never reach us; we process only licensing and metering metadata.

How to read these drafts

They are written in plain English on purpose — the same voice as the rest of this site. Two kinds of bracketed markers appear throughout: [OWNER DECISION] marks a business choice that is still open, and [TO BE COMPLETED WITH COUNSEL] marks a legal detail (such as governing law and venue) that will be settled during review. If a summary here ever disagrees with the full text of a document, the full text wins.
